It could have been a lot worse. I was so scared at first that some people may have died but so far it seems that the worst anyone has received were a couple of scrapes.

Despite how destructive it all was the University seems to be almost brand new so I'll be able to continue my studies. I am hoping to get my business set up soon...I had planned to do it before Valentines Day but I had just been so busy with everything it really was impossible, but I've got a nice feel for the surrounding ocean and have made several safe routes that pass through nice scenery.

A lot of people have left, which is kind of sad. Patchouli was one of them and I'll miss her but that is life, right? We were good friends, and I'm sure we'll be able to keep in contact. I still have plenty of good ones here, like Jim, Jade, and Jack.

Speaking of which, Jade? Do you want to see if our dorm room has been revived yet or would you perhaps be interested in renting an apartment room together?

Well I've had a splendid welcome here. The people of Flamingo Heights all seem very kind and I have to say, from what everyone has told me and what I have seen thus far I will most certainly be getting my excitement! I've passed word with many an interesting fellows, one of whom shall be my teacher at the University and who I'm going to meet soon I also have solar boarding to look forward to, Venice, and the supposed insanity of this place which I must say, I'm very eager to witness. I

Despite having arrived only recently I did not spend New Years alone. I met a fine young man named Jack and we got to know each other a bit and I mixed him one of my drinks--Fantasio Cocktail which is a mixture of brandy, dry vermouth, maraschino liqueur and white creme de menthe. We sailed out into the ocean a bit so we could have a good view of the fireworks. It was nice.

Sasame suggested that I continue my gondola service here, which I feel I'd really like to. I'm going to have to find some place near the ocean where I can store my boat and then sail around some so I can create a map, find interesting places, and get a feel for the waters.

Oh! And thank you so much for the flower, Jack. It is lovely.

My, my. I never would have imagined that Man-Home use to look liked this, it is quite different from what it ends up becoming. It's rather nice though, it feels as I'm experiencing history now; though technically speaking if I'm here, it probably means I was meant to which means I was already part of it. Strange how that works.

Enough of my rambling. My name is Alicia Florence and I hail from Neo-Venezia. It's quite a lovely place and if any of you are seeking a beautiful, calm and relaxing place it's the way to go! You'll have all you need, but simplicity and mellowness. It's certainly a nice place for a romantic outing!

It feels strange to leave it, admittedly but I will probably be going back very often. Akari had become a Prima however so it was time for her to take over. I came here for some studies since after so many years of working I have much saved up. It seems as if I have been working backwards however; I had a nice, secure job that I loved and now I'm going to a University to study? Ah, but I am content with the way my life is traveling thus far.

I will be attending Flamingo University, majoring in European History. It would be nice to study what inspired my most loved home.

There aren't many rivers around, unfortunately, but I still have my gondola. There's the ocean though. It'd be nice to row out occasionally
